Across the five tracks on ‘Augua D’o Binies’, Pushmann harnesses the sort of rugged, shuffling funk that permeates most Hardgroove releases. From the slow-burning intensity of opener ‘Hydnum’ to the breathless undulations of Sims’ powerful edit of Pushmann’ and Vil’s ‘Fluxo’, the whole EP balances sleek electronic sounds with gritty or organic touches. ‘Ephemera’, ‘Huecha’, and 'Felleus' exploit vocal samples alongside their dense, swinging rhythms and crafty melodies to create little those little 'real' moments throughout.

Pushmann, aka Victor M, has released for Be As One, Symbolism, Uncage and his own N&N whilst becoming a firm favourite across the myriad of techno clubs of his native Spain over the past decade. Pushmann releases have seen consistent support from the likes of James Ruskin, Ben Sims, Slam, Mark Broom, and Truncate.
